Self-Guided Programs

Self-guided groups will be met by a representative of the Museum and given a brief orientation. We encourage those organizing Self-guided Programs to be familiar enough with the Museum to provide both a context and a purpose for the visit. We are happy to provide pre-visit activities and complimentary passes to those individuals wishing to visit the Museum in order to plan the day for their group once a reservation has been made.

Group size
Minimum 10, Maximum 24 for Student groups, 30 for Adults groups

Fees
$7.00 for Adults (18 and up)
$5.00 for Students, Teachers, and Seniors (65 and up)
Museum Members may not use their membership to get into the Museum as part of a Group Program.

Free Chaperones (Must remain with group at all times)
1 Chaperone is required for each group of 4 or less Students
2 Chaperones are required for each group of 5 - 8 students
Additional adults will be charged the $7.00 Adult Admission Fee.

Reservations
All Self-guided Programs of 10 or more require advanced reservations.
Self-guided Programs usually last about 90 minutes and are available for students Wednesday and Thursday at 10:00 and 12:00. We encourage Self-guided Adult groups to arrange their visits on weekends or afternoons. Programs should be scheduled at least three weeks in advance and all cancellations require three-week’s notice.

Booking Schedule
April 1st – Begin booking September through February for the upcoming school year
September 1st – Begin booking March through June of the current school year

Museum Café
Box lunches may be ordered in advance through the Museum Café.
For Self-guided Groups wishing to eat their own lunches in the Café, there is a $20 Café rental fee. Café reservations must be made in advance to ensure availability. Weather permitting; the Courtyard is available for picnics.

Confirmations will be sent approximately three weeks prior to your program.
